Sambal Terung

Hello guys welcome to Malaysia Treats. Today we are going to learn how to cook sambal terung. Sambal Terung is one of the Malaysian food. It is quite traditional and quite spicy. "Terung" in English is "Brinjal" or if you are looking for the smaller yet fatter version of it, "egg plant". Now without any further interruption, enjoy cooking!

Ingredients:
  • Dry chili
  • Dry prawn
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Sugar (according to your taste)
  • Salt (according to your taste)
  • A bit of water
  • A bit of oil

The Petronas Twin, also known as the Petronas Twin Tower or in Malay, Menara Petronas or Menara Berkembar Petronas, are the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia. according to CTBUH's offical defintion and ranking.They were the tallest buildings in the world in 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101.The buildings are the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pisang montel sliced into two
  • 2 table spoons of chocolate ice cream
  • 2 table spoons of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 table spoons of strawberry ice cream
  • 3 flat chocolates
  • 2 red cherries
  • 2 pandan leaves cut to four pieces
  • 4 table spoons of mixed fruits
  • A bit of almonds
  • A bit of sweet peanuts
  • A bit of chocolate sauce
  • A bit of vanilla icing
  • A bit of chocolate rice
  • A bit of sprinkles

Ingredients:

120 ml mix fruit juice
1sliced lemon
1 red cherry with a toothpick stick into the bottom
1 orchid flower
a straw and cocktail spoon
ice cubes (as many as you want)

Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak

  Nasi Lemak  is a rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf commonly found in Malaysia where it is considered the national dish. Brunei; Singapore, Riau Island; and Southern Thailand. It is not to be confused with Nasi Dagang sold in east coast of Malaysia or Terengganu and Kelantan although both dishes can be usually be found be sold by breakfast.However, because of the Nasi Lemak's versatility in being able to be serve in a variety of manners, it is now served and eaten at any time of the day.

Ingredients For Rice:

3 cups of rice
1 box of coconut milk
1 pandan leaf
Ginger (5 cm)
Salt (according to your taste)

Currypuff

Currypuff or Karipap in Malay, are delicious treats in Malaysia.It is crunchy from the outside and usually is filled with potatoes and sometimes beef. A great treat for any kind of snack. Here is a fried currypuff recipe I would like to show you. (read the following recipe below).

 Ingredients for filling are:

2 large boiled diced potatoes.
1 medium red onion finely chop.
1/2 finely diced chicken or beef.
