Hello everyone and welcome to another recipe here at Malaysia Treats! Today we have something different from chicken which is also a delightful desert and also bubur and that is Bubur Kacang Hijau. This bubur is like no other bubur because it is more peanuty that any other! So I hope after this tutorial you'll be fine by cooking this because it's very simple! Enjoy the steps back here in Malaysia Treats!
Ingredients:
- 1 packet kacang hijau (use half only)
- Brown sugar
- Ginger (or pandan leaf, up to your taste, peeled)
- Coconut milk
- Salt
Method:
- First, pour in your half a packet of your kacang hijau into your wok and fill it up with water just above it and leave it to settle for a while.
- Then add in the ginger, coconut milk, brown sugar and the pinch of salt. And leave it to settle. The reason why we used ginger, is because it can release air. As the smell starts to raise and if you like the fruit durian -- you can add it in this point.
- Do make sure that the coconut milk is not to thick or the kacang hijau will also be thick. After it is finish, you can serve it with an ice cube or two.
