Pengat Pisang


Hello everyone and today we got another tasty delight for you all here in Malaysia Treats! Today's wonderful delight is something healthy which involves fruits (one fruit) and very simple to make though it is still a desert. It's called Pengat Pisang! Back in the old days Pengat Pisang was a wonderful Malaysian desert that some people loves! This kind of food is now going viral! So I hope you enjoy the recipe! (Read the recipes down below).

Ingredients:

  •  300ml concentrated liquid milk
  • 150ml thick milk
  • Bananas (as many as you desire, peeled)
  • 100gm gula melaka
  • 50gm sugar
  • 30gm sago
  • 1 piece daun pandan

Methods

  1. First, slice the bananas into halves from height and then cut equal size at width. 
  2. Boil the liquid milk together with the gula melaka, sago and daun pandan.
  3. When the sago is cooking, add in sugar along with the sliced bananas and the thick milk.
  4. Leave it to settle for 2 minutes and it is ready to be served.

 Great! We got ourselves some yummy delightful meals which is still healthy of the banana! I hope you enjoy this kind of healthy desert which is still a desert but a very simple desert.
